Professional Bio
Sarah completed her PhD at Deakin University in 2023. Her thesis investigated the role of testosterone and other sex hormones in the regulation of skeletal muscle in females. Sarah is now a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute in Melbourne, Victoria. Her research interests include the role of sex hormones in the manifestation of cardiovascular and other chronic diseases. She is also researching the mechanisms of muscle wasting with weight loss drugs in adults.
