Professional Bio
Riley is a Brisbane-based ESSA accredited exercise physiologist with special interests in the health and performance of female esports athletes. She has worked as a women’s health and oncology exercise physiologist at Pear Exercise Physiology, and recently completed a Master’s in Medical Research at Griffith University as part of the ihop research group, where she investigated how exercise-related harms are reported in exercise oncology research. Having grown up as an avid gamer herself, she has now pivoted into the burgeoning area of esports, and is currently based at Queensland University of Technology undertaking a PhD to investigate the effect of the menstrual cycle on the health and performance of elite female esports athletes.
