Dr Rhiannon Snipe is an advanced sports dietitian and lecturer in sports nutrition at Deakin University. Her research aspires to fill some of the current gaps in knowledge on the effect of the menstrual cycle and hormonal contraceptive use on female athletes and the interaction with sports nutrition requirements. Outside of work, Rhiannon enjoys the practical application of sports nutrition through training for and competing in marathon and ultra-endurance running events.
