BIOGRAPHY OF PRESENTING AUTHOR – PENELOPE MATKIN-HUSSEY
Penelope is a second year PhD student with the Department of Human Nutrition at the University of Otago. Her research interests are female athlete health, in particular recovery from Relative Energy in Sport (REDs). Her current work is investigating the potential use of continuous glucose monitors as a novel tool for the identification and monitoring of REDs, which is being undertaken in collaboration with Axis Sports Medicine, New Zealand, and Bond University, Australia.
